Sooraj Barjatya,director of this movie made history with his first and second film. The third and fourth were badly received.He is Just improving his mistakes done in maine pyar kyon kiya and hum sath -2 hain.Gone is the amateurish home-video feel to Barjatya's earlier familial epics. Yes, there's plenty of singing (and not of a very high caliber, I'm afraid) but blessedly little dancing in the long but fulfilling and fluent drama of domesticated courtship. The simple charm of the boy-meets-girl story is laced with untold moments of absolute enchantment.

Making a movie on a subject with incestuous connotations, even though slight, is always a tricky job. One might end up putting the audiences off. But, expectedly, Onir displays sensitivity in walking the thin line and telling his story as a tale of relationships between different characters rather than a plain tale of forbidden love.
That’s what makes ‘Sorry Bhai’ worth a watch. It’s about the complexities of relationships. Not the kind of complexities one sees splashed out dramatically in usual Bollywood melodramas. But the kind that one normally sees in life. That subtle tug or snap in relationships when people are drawn towards or pulled away from each other. That gradual mushrooming of an emotion towards another person. These very moments captured with a telling effect provide the soul to ‘Sorry Bhai’ even though the film gets a little too tangled in the second half.
At the centre of the movie is a slowly developing love story between a woman and the younger brother of the man she is about to marry.
Harsh ( Sanjay Suri ) is set to marry Aaliya ( Chitrangada Singh ). His family comprising of a young, shy and geeky scientist brother Siddharth ( Sharman Joshi ), a disapproving mom ( Shabana Azmi ) and a chilled-out dad ( Boman Irani ) come to Mauritius to attend the wedding. While Harsh doesn’t seem to have much time for his family and his bride-to-be, Siddharth and Aaliya develop a bond that mushrooms into mutual attraction. The duo fights this attraction. But before they both could stop, they are already in love.
How will the elder brother react to this love? How will mom and dad take it? That’s for you to see.
More than just a romantic story, ‘Sorry Bhai’ taps on the bonding between two brothers, and between the two women in the story. Shabana’s character is disapproving of Chitrangada’s in the beginning. But gradually the two women begin to bond. Similarly the few intense moments between the two brothers beautifully capture the essence of fraternal love. But on top of it all is the gentle love story between Sharman and Chitrangada.
In a movie like ‘Sorry Bhai’, it’s more appropriate to judge the actors’ job from viewpoint of the chemistry between them rather than individual performances. Sharman – as a Jazz-loving scientist working on a project to make a dummy dog fly (not bark) – is first rate, particularly when cast opposite Chitrangada who exudes a natural charm and ease of a woman slightly mature for Sharman. The chemistry between Shabana and Chitrangada too is worth noting. Sanjay Suri is relegated to the background for a substantial part, but he too gets his moments. Boman Irani is superb in a relatively smaller but homour-filled role.
Onir’s films have always tackled the inner conflicts of the story’s characters, and ‘Sorry Bhai’ is no different. The film, with its above average music and eye-pleasing cinematography, has a somewhat abrupt ending preceded by a couple of sequences where you feel the director either lost his grip over the plot or became too self-indulgent.
But at the end of the day, ‘Sorry Bhai’ gives you a faint smile and doesn’t make you feel sorry for the money and time spent on the flick.

This is perhaps the first time that a film of Yuvaratna Nandamuri Balakrishna came in without much noise and even the prime theaters were quite silent without any hungama by Balayya fans. Whether it was the sentiment of the makers of this film not to do hype or is it yuvaratna’s charm fading, let us go and see.
StoryAditya (Balakrishna) lives in Malaysia but his only objective is to die soon. However, he has a hope that someday someone will come into his life so that he gets the urge to live. That someone turns out to be Indu (Priyamani) who chases him and romances him. Apparently, Indu has a motive behind her romance and finally both of them get married. Both of them come to India from Malaysia but Indu’s father Saikrishna (Ranganath) is not at all happy with Aditya and insults him. Also, Indu actually wants to marry Madhu (Deepak) but marries Aditya for a reason. What is that reason? What is the background of Aditya? All this forms the rest of the story.
PerformanceBalakrishna came across as a mild character and was rather aloof till the first half, it is only in the second half that he gathers some energy but then his character has been quite weak unlike his high voltage roles.
Priyamani has done her bit as required she is good at dance and looks more gorgeous in traditional costumes than modern ones. Pradeep Rawat was brief and regular, Ranganath carried his role with elegance while Brahmanandam generated few laughs. Krishna Bhagawan was his regular self, Balaiah was graceful, Deepak was handsome and suited well in a negative shade. The others like Chandramohan, Chalapathi Rao, Hema, Ahuti Prasad, Dharmavarapu just came and went as there was nothing much for them.
The director came out with a storyline that was rather flimsy and though the narrative was weak, the presentation was somewhat okay. The good side of the movie was the music and the cinematography that was done well and about two songs are worth humming. Editing could have been crisp. Locations and costumes were alright. Screenplay lacked the strength and the script was spineless. The other departments did their bit as required.
AnalysisThis is very much not a Balayya film and one fails to understand what the connection is between the title and the story. The first half was in shambles as there was nothing Balakrishna had except ten lines of dialogues. It is only the second half that has some tempo but then the climax again gets back to the routine formula without anything to create impact.
Looking at the film, one gets a feeling that Balayya seems to have lost his judgment skills when it comes to choosing scripts and taking up roles.
There is nothing catchy about this role that suits his image and barring one twist in the story, the rest was all about filling gaps with songs and some comedy scenes. Balayya fans will be disappointed once again as there are no high adrenaline dialogues, no heavy weight performances and most importantly, a very weak and mild characterization of Balayya which is a total contrast to his regular self. The film has few sentimental angles that might appeal the mass but overall, the film has failed to live up to the expectations.
Only summer should save this film due to holiday season.

The element of doing something wrong for the good of people has been a common formula since the time of Robinhood. What happens when a girl does not want to meet her lover and her prospective fiancé super-cop wants to locate a thief? All this and more forms the part of ‘Kick’ so let us see how good it gets.
StorySet in the backdrop of Malaysia, Naina (Ileana) gets alliance of Kalyan Krishna (Shaam) from India. He is a cop who comes to Malaysia, meets Naina and she tells him her flashback about her boyfriend Kalyan (Ravi Teja).
Both of them get separated due to a small scuffle and meanwhile, Kalyan Krishna comes to Malaysia with the idea of finding a thief there. This thief has been stealing a lot of money and is escaping. Does Kalyan Krishna manage to catch the thief?
Will Naina get engaged to Kalyan Krishna? Who is Halwaraj? For knowing more, watch the film.
PerformanceRavi Teja was his energetic best and gave a good performance, Ileana was drop dead beautiful and she has really shown her oomph.
Brahmanandam was neat, Shaam looked competent and he has charming looks, Ashika can work on her figure a bit. The others like Chalapthi Rao, Banerjee, Prabha etc did their bit and contributed to the film.
The director has come up with a storyline that could have been stitched more tightly and though the presentation part was fine, the narrative could have been better. The dialogues were written neatly and they were fair, script was written without any hitches and screenplay was executed.
The background score was neat and songs like ‘ I Don’t Want Love…’ ‘Manase Thadisela…’’ are something worth humming and can be taken home. Cinematography was neat and it captured the foreign locales in a good manner, stunts were good at few places. Costumes were trendy and art department was apt.

Analysis:The film flashes Arjun’s ‘Gentleman’ in the spirit. But this is dealt with more humor that suits the contemporary audiences. While Arjun’s role is replicated here with Ravi Teja, Charan Raj’s role is seen in new face Shyam who played cop.
The take off and first half of the movie are impressive. Although the tempo was lost especially in the beginning of second half, again it regained as action episodes enter the screen. Brahmanandam’s Halwa Raj episode keeps entertaining like that of his role in Krishna.
Songs are catchy for eyes but the orchestration dominated lyrics in many instances. Indeed, there are some haunting tunes from a couple of songs.
Ravi Teja’s energy is all pervaded in the movie and that’s the big saving grace for this flick to keep mass audiences glue on to their seats till the last.
As there are no big competitors for this film in coming few weeks, chances are bright for it to win at box office. But the budget incurred on the film is mammoth and it may be hard to meet that mark.

Movie Review of 99
Kunal Khemu play the role of Sachin. Sachin is full of good ideas. Implementation is always the problem. Sachin is ambitious, he is street-smart and he is also a National College Dropout. Currently, he is content doing little fiddling with his cousin and best friend, Zaramud. The only problem is that Zaramud is the opposite of tact and common sense and mystical knack landing them both into trouble. So thanks to Zaramud, such a trick goes wrong.
It begins as a routine to collect money when the AGM calls his “employees, Sachin and Zaramud to go to Delhi. But when hardcore Mumbaites countries in the “Land of pedant’, they are taken for a wild ride. All the cabbie to a street Urchin seems to think this is fair game.
At the same time, Rahul (Boman Irani) is the Pits. Under pressure from Sachin, on top of the already existing pressure from its local debt collectors, Kuber (Amit Mistry), Rahul come up with a plan.Under ‘recovered’ General Meeting of money they intend to return to Mumbai. But leaving Delhi proves more difficult than it looks like Sachin is “trusted” cabbie has his own design. Sachin now owe much to the General Assembly than he has previously done. Rahul not owe money AGM longer, but he owes the bank money he took. Non-payment could cost him life - in prison. The hatch a plot to make money - much of it - and change their lives forever. No more routine banking jobs. They want to score that elusive “century”, which would allow them control over their lives. And in his own way, they end up making history!

Sarvam (2009)

Sarvam is a story based on five people whose lives take a drastic turn in a flash, after an incident. Karthik(Arya) a smart and happy young architect, falls in live with a beautiful doctor Sandhya (Trisha) after a mix-up at a Kart Racing track. Football coach Eashwar (JD Chakravarthy) tries to take the life of , a software professional Naushad (Indrajeet) son Imman (Rohan). What makes Eashwar to go behind the life of a ten year old boy and what happens next forms rest of the story.
Arya is top notch, with his carefree acting style and easygoing charm, contributes to the film’s energy. The scenes where he expresses his love for Trisha are a laugh. Trisha looks beautiful, though we wish she had more screen space. Cinematographer Nirav Shah’s camera work is top class and Yuvan’s background score and music also deserve a special mention.
The verdict is Sarvam is a decent thriller banking heavily on style and gloss, and it has some patches here and there. Yet the movie is worth a watch and you can go for it.

Synopsis
The movie set in a military camp at Coonoor revolves around military doctor Lt.Colonal Dr Rajalekshmy (Sharanya) and her two daughters-Pinky and Pooja. Rajalekshmy has a special consideration for Pooja who is obedient and docile, working as a school teacher. While her younger daughter Pinky (Roma)is a tomboyish ,bubbly girl who roams around playing pranks on the villagers and shooting her popular television programme 'Colours' modeled after the hits 'Bakra and Tharikida'. Though she is adventurous and bold, she shares a very special relation with Pooja (Bhama) and her grandpa Pushkaran Pillai (Innocent).Pinky locally called as ''Pankan'' has a group of guys always in her disposal including cameraman Rahul who is in love with her. And when Navy officer Lt Commander Sanjaynath arrives to Coonoor, locking horns with Pinky from the very first day, every one finds him as a way to control the mindless maneuvers of Pinky, which gradually leads them into falling in love. But the movie has an array of subplots, the most prominent being the fraudulent act of smuggling costly medicines from hospital store by some of Rajalekshmi’s subordinates , which leads into further tensions in her family. Then there are the plans of elders to marry off Pooja to Sanjay, even when he is in love with Pinky. And the worst of the subplots is that involving the character played by Harishree Ashokan and his father in-law - a lunatic played by Cochin Haneefa, which falls well below buffoonery.Though the movie is promoted as a Dileep flick, the movie essentially belongs to Roma, as the lead actor only arrives on to the scene, a few seconds before interval. That is, exactly an hour after the start of the proceedings. Roma is thus left to hold the film together again with her umpteenth act as a bold, aggressive girl. She hams at some points and her dubbing too let the sequences down. But towards the end, she manages to float the narratives without sinking too low. Dileep makes a ride through his macho avathar-though not much convincingly. Vinoo Mohan and Bhama under play their characters as per demands while Sharanya and Innocent are aptly cast. Harihsree Ashokan, and cochin Haneefa are terribly unbearable, left to run all around to create some halfbaked chuckles.

A known tale, the story is set on the backdrop of Kuttanad and here is Benny (Jayaram) who is a cable operator. He has a big family of a widowed mother, two sisters Sophie and Sally along with his grandmother. As expected, he has financial difficulties and finds a solution in the form of his good friend Sadanandan who advises Benny to marry a girl with good dowry. He also manages to find Daisy (Kanihaa) whose father Anto promises a dowry of 5 lakhs during the time of marriage. The marriage takes place but the transaction does not happen. Enraged by this, Benny begins to ill treat Daisy and he is keen on driving her out. She takes it on her stride and suffers everything but then a twist of events happen and how Benny comes out of his problems forms the rest of the story.
